You Wind Me Up
04:14
|
|||
Nothin' I do ever matters to you
like a drink and a chat on our own
I'm a 4-star loser with one foot in your grave
just a bad boy rock'n'roller you've been shown
Now you're makin' me pay for the things that you say
and it seems that nothing I do is ever right
Exceptin' when I smile and run around you for a while
'cause everythin' else I do is good for a fight
You wind me up
And I ain't your clockwork toy
I'm a mean little boy
who's gonna run like shit
one dark and stormy night
Nothing I sing is gonna change a damn thing
like this song or the others I do
I'm a 10-star punk who's gonna pack his leavin' trunk
just a holy rock'n'roller leavin' you
I'm diggin' my grave for the interest I gave
an' it ain't my fault you're out in the cold
'Cause I started off alright I never wanted any fight
now I'm feelin' tired and also old
You wind me up
And you been hurtin' me since
You treat me like a clockwork prince
Here's the sound that sheep can leave the fold
Now listen good
Nothing I sing's gonna change a damn thing
like this song or the others I do
I'm a 10-star punk who's gonna pack his leavin' trunk
just a holy rock'n'roller leavin' you
I'm diggin' my grave for the interest I gave
an' it ain't my fault you're out in the cold
'Cause I started off alright I never wanted any fight
now I'm feelin' tired and also old
You wind me up
And you been hurtin' me since
You treat me like a clockwork prince
Here's the sound that sheep can leave the fold
Clockwork prince
You're treatin' me like a clockwork prince

We Were Rollin'
04:05
|

Now she moved in with her daddy to the flat next door
Every five minutes she was knockin' on my door
Her brother came 'round so I stuck him in a sack
Her daddy came 'round later and he took his daughter back
We were rollin'; we been rollin'; just a rollin' all night long
I been rollin' with my baby; rollin' with my babe; I been
Rollin' with my baby too long
She's been rollin' with somebody but it wasn't me
Rollin', rollin', rollin'
I'm gonna roll with my baby
Now she was five foot seven and she dance like a queen
I didn't have no trouble 'cause she rode like a dream
Every half-hour I'd pick up the phone
to her daddy screamin' at me just to bring his daughter home
We were rollin'; just a-rollin'; we been rollin' all night long
I been rollin' with my baby; rollin' with my babe; I been
Rollin' with my baby too long
She's been rollin' with somebody but it wasn't me
Rollin', rollin', rollin'
I'm gonna roll with my baby
Ha ha!
She moved in with her daddy to the flat next door
Every five minutes she was knocking on my door
Her sister came 'round so I kept her out the back
Her daddy came 'round later and he took sisky back
We were rollin'; just a-rollin'; we been rollin' all night long
I been rollin' with my baby; rollin' with my babe; I been
Rollin' with my baby too long
She's been rollin' with somebody but it wasn't me
Rollin', rollin', rollin'
I'm gonna roll with my baby
Now come on boys
Rollin', rollin' with my baby; Rollin', rollin' with my baby
Rollin', rollin' with my baby; Rollin', rollin' with my babe
I been a rollin'; reelin' and a-rockin' an' rollin'
Beepin' and a-boppin' and
Rollin', rollin' with my babe; I been rollin'
Rollin' with my babe
She's was rollin' with somebody but it wasn't me
Rollin', rollin', rollin'
I'm gonna roll with my baby
Yeah; I'm really rockin' and rollin'

I've Had Enough
03:27
|
|||
A-a-a-a
I know you; you know me; she knows that; I've been there
Now I went to a party with Lou Reed
Everyone I knew was there
Wearin' flashy clothes, acting a-la-mode
With high-style, low-cut hair
A-a-a-a-a-a-aaa
We'll now Andy Warhol was there too
Hangin' from a rope on the wall
Just liggin' around like a third-rate clown
Watchin' what the kids would call 'Boogie'
A-a-a-a-a-a-aaa
I've 'ad enough I'm goin', I've 'ad enough I'm off
I've 'ad enough I'm goin', I've 'ad enough I'm goin' 'ome
I've 'ad enough I'm goin', I've 'ad enough I'm off ('a-ha)
I've 'ad enough I'm goin' 'ome
I know her; she knows me; she knows that; I've been there
A-a-a; A-a-a; A-a-a
Now I went to that party with Lou Reed
And all drinks were free
The only fault was you couldn't get caught
With anyone less than Lou Reed
A-a-a-a-a-a-aaa
I've 'ad enough I'm goin', I've 'ad enough I'm off
I've 'ad enough I'm goin', I've 'ad enough I'm goin' 'ome
I've 'ad enough I'm goin', I've 'ad enough I'm off ('a-ha)
I've 'ad enough I'm goin' 'ome
A-a-a-a-a-a; I'm off

Can Go the Tango
03:36
|
|||
Charisma; Marisma; But is there anything to do?
Anythings that show to you; It's never enough just to say
I've seen it; I mean it; I mean it in the afternoon
Feel that I should go quite soon; It's never enough just to say
Can go the tango, the last one is the best they say
Shows you lots of different ways to waste an afternoon
Scan it; They ban it; They plan to take it home with them
And watch it after half-past ten; When the kids have gone to bed
Sensor's defencor; Is only that he knows what's best
Who told him? Well you can guess; It's never enough just to say
Can go the tango, the last one is the best they say
Shows you lots of different ways to waste an afternoon
Charisma; Marisma; But is there anything you can do?
Anythings that show to you; It's never enough just to say
I've seen it; I mean it; I mean it in the afternoon
Feel that I should go quite soon; It's never enough just to say
Can go the tango; The last one is the best they say
Shows you lots of different ways to waste an afternoon
Oh!
You can do the tango; You can do the tango;
You can do the tango; You can do it -oh yeah!
You can do the tango; You can do the tango;
You can do the tango; You can do it -oh yeah!
You can do the tango; You can do the tango;
You can do the tango; You can do it -oh yeah!
You can do the tango; You can do the tango;
You can do the tango; You can do it -alright now!
Do the Tango-o
After we're finished, now I'll take a chance
We can do the last tango at the high school dance
Yeah -waa waa
